Experience
Festival zones, signature moments, and the Taste Passport — grounded in the Breaking Bread Fest ACE Grant plan.
Festival zones
Food vendors by tradition with story cards and digital profiles. Categories guide programming — they are not quotas.
Live cooking demos, cultural storytelling through food, dish presentations, and judged showcase moments.
Music, dance, DJ, cultural performance, and spoken word with local talent first.
Craft beverages, mocktails, shade, optional VIP. Alcohol only if fully licensed — optional in year one.
Packaged foods, spices, sauces, handmade and cultural goods from local makers.
Kids activities, cultural education, storytelling, interactive exhibits, and a quiet / sensory-light area.
Livestream, interviews, QR/SMS opt-in support, and Taste Passport help — with a printed alternative always available.
Signature experiences
Check in at booths, stories, demos, performances, and family activities. Points are illustrative and fun — they never rank cultures against each other.
Noon welcome from cultural representatives, a short story about sharing food, and a communal toast or tasting.
Free participation path required so no guest is gated behind a tasting pass.
Awards: People’s Choice · Best Cultural Story · Chef Showcase · Community Connection
